M.A.C. previews modern cool and retro glam for spring
This spring, M.A.C. wants to make you a “jean-ius.” The cosmetics giant’s Jeanius collection is a celebration of denim’s journey from country cousin to haute couture. The collection of moody blues and indigo ink comes in four new limited-edition eye shadows (with faux metal snaps), lipsticks, lipglass, and nail lacquer. The icy shades are the epitome of modern cool and will be available in April.
If old Hollywood glamor is more your speed, try M.A.C.’s Sheen Supreme line of lipsticks. This updated formula imparts the strong, sensual saturated color of your favorite lipstick, while remaining light and vibrant like a gloss — with none of the stickiness. The 14 chic colors — ranging from “Supremely Confident,” pale nude, to “Good to be Bad,” deep burgundy — hit store shelves in January.
In keeping with its retro revival, M.A.C’s new Creme Blend blush gives you maximum flexibility in creating perfectly contoured cheekbones. The old school rouge starts creamy and stays creamy, providing buildable color that takes your look from subtle and natural to bright and glowing to dark and dramatic. The silicone-free formula is perfect for all skin tones and comes in six lush colors. Look for them in stores and online in March.
