In 2006, Gus Tzitzifas brought the Swedesboro Inn and completely transformed it. His vision for the restaurant was to give an old environment a new feel, to focus on great food and excellent service.

Tavro 13 opened its doors on October 22, 2012 and ever since, they have been a local hot-spot. Tarvo 13 walks the fine line between familiar and cutting edge, on their menu and in the restaurant itself. The restaurant’s atmosphere is inspired by the building’s history, which is a blend of a comfort and familiarity combined with the “big city” feel.

Chef Terence Feury

Terence Feury is the head chef of Tavro 13. The restaurant specializes in American cuisine, but highlights seafood, playing to Feury’s talents. Chef Feury was named Philadelphia Magazine’s Best Chef 2010 and is known as one of Philadelphia’s brightest culinary stars.

Tavro 13 is open Monday through Friday from 11:30am-2:30pm for lunch; Sunday through Thursday from 5pm-10pm and Friday and Saturday from 5pm-11pm for dinner. The lounge is open daily, from 4pm-2pm. For more information, call 856.467.8413 or visit tavro13.com.
