2013 Dressage at Devon

Share

Dressage in French translates to “training” which is exactly what the horses and riders of the Dressage at Devon do. This event is a reflection of strength, power and obedience in the eyes of art and beauty. Dressage has been called “poetry in motion and ballet on horseback.” Crowds gathered at Dressage at Devon on September 24-29 for an exhilarating experience of equestrian exhibitions. Ranking as a world-class dressage competition, and the world’s largest open breed show, Devon’s competition included more than 700 horses of more than 29 differing breeds; more than 35,000 spectators watched and enjoyed.  Our photographer, Juan Vidal, provided these images.
