“Art is After Dark” September Events

Share

The Delaware Art Museum continues its year-long series “Art is After Dark” with two September events: Clay Date and Art is Social.

This month, Art is Social features Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. In conjunction with the Delaware Art Museum’s “French Twist: Masterworks of Photography from Atget to Man Ray” exhibit, attendees can sketch models dressed in typical Parisian style. Don’t worry if you aren’t an accomplished artist — all skill levels, from novice to professional — are welcome. Beer and wine tastings, live music, and access to additional museum exhibitions are all available. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members, with a  cash bar and VIP beer and wine tastings for $20.

For a more “hands-on” experience, Clay Date gives you the opportunity to socialize, while creating your own unique piece of pottery. All supplies are provided and all skill levels are welcome. Light refreshments are provided. This is a 21+ event which is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
