“Art is After Dark” August Events

Share

The dog days of summer have arrived and the Delaware Art Museum has the perfect solution for you to beat the summer heat.

We all know that dogs are man’s best friend, but wouldn’t it be great to have a portrait of your pooch? The Doggy Days of Summer event is all about dogs! Come out and get a caricature from animal artist Sam Mylin. While you’re waiting for him to finish, enjoy Delaware Art Museum’s beautiful Copeland Sculpture Garden. The museum has partnered with the Delaware Humane Association for this event. Drinks are provided for owners and treats for your furry friend. Best of all, this event is FREE!

Clay Date, the “Art is After Dark” monthly event, continues in August. Create a functional piece of pottery while meeting new people or spending time with a special someone. All supplies are provided, along with light refreshments. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. This is a 21+ event.
