Share

If you see a framed painting on the side of a building this summer, don?t be alarmed.

The installations are part of the Delaware Art Museum’s outdoor exhibition titled Art is Everywhere! The display uses landmark outdoor venues as its gallery space. The showcase includes 15 reproductions of some of the museum’s most treasured paintings. The museum’s Executive Director Danielle Rice commented, ?By sharing reproductions of some of our most beloved works of art, we?re hoping Art is Everywhere will spark curiosity and inspire both new and current visitors.?

The exhibit is part of the museum’s year-long Centennial Celebration, which began last November. Installations occur in Sussex and Kent counties this Tuesday and Wednesday, July 10-11, and in New Castle County on July 16-17. The sites for the exhibits range from universities, to public libraries and will last until the beginning of October.
