Children’s Scavenger Hunt Series Hosted by Chadds Ford Historical Society

Share

Kids get the chance to search out historic artifacts for answers to clues provided upon their arrival. Participants explore a schoolhouse from the 1800s, relics from the Revolutionary War and a museum filled with Americana.

The scavenger hunts generously benefit each of the hosting non-profit organizations and are designed to promote reading comprehension along with a better understanding of local history.

Recommended ages: 9 – 14 years old. Cost is $3 per child (members free). All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Arrive anytime between 1pm and 3pm. The hunt lasts about 45 minutes and is weather friendly – all events are indoors.
